Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Manage mental health problems and coordinate health and wellness programs for patients. Adhere to State and Federal rules and regulations, and follow nursing standards of care. Provide care for adult-only patients, including those with acute and acutely chronic mental illnesses. Work within a facility that has 13 inpatient beds, alongside 1 MD and 1 PNP on site.

Skills and Abilities:

Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location. Ability to work effectively with various departments and the public. Proficiency in using a personal computer and relevant software programs. Commitment to ongoing educational growth and collaborative problem-solving for patient care. Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Physical agility to respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs. Adequate hearing, visual acuity, and color vision. Fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and ability to handle objects. Ability to use proper body mechanics for patient transfers and ambulation. Must use standard precautions due to the threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally use a personal computer. Not Accepting:
