Quality Control Scientist
Location: Eugene, OR
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Scientist to support laboratory testing and quality operations in a regulated life sciences environment. This position will perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while ensuring results meet established quality and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, laboratory experience, and familiarity with cGMP, GLP, analytical testing, and quality documentation

- Perform quality control testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and dissolution testing
. - Perform applicable microbiological testing and follow aseptic laboratory practices.
- Accurately document laboratory activities, observations, calculations, and test results.
- Analyze results and identify unusual, unexpected, or out-of-specification findings.
- Support investigations into laboratory or product-related issues.
- Participate in quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow established SOPs, GMP/GLP requirements, and Good Documentation Practices.
- Operate, maintain, and assist with calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Enter and manage laboratory data using LIMS and analytical software
. - Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Communicate testing results and quality concerns effectively with laboratory and cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple testing assignments and priorities while meeting required timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Experience working in a quality control laboratory preferred.
- Biotechnology or pharmaceutical laboratory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and quality management systems
. - Knowledge of pharmaceutical testing standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and laboratory software.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

This is a laboratory-based position requiring appropriate PPE and adherence to laboratory safety procedures. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with laboratory equipment, chemicals, biological materials, and regulated documentation.
Flexible scheduling may be required.
Compensation$30.00 per hour
Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
