Position Summary
The Biology Department seeks to create a pool of applicants interested in available research positions in biological sciences. Positions are a limited duration, funding‑contingent postdoctoral or research assistant/associate appointments that may be full‑time, part‑time, or short‑term, with initial duration not to exceed one year. There may be a possibility of renewal up to a total of three years, depending on program needs, funding, and performance.
Research Assistant positions will conduct research under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). Research Associate positions will conduct research with only general guidance from the PI. Postdoctoral Scholars will conduct research under the direction of a faculty member to acquire research training. In addition to career development, the postdoctoral scholar and PI will create and follow mentoring and individual development plans.
