Server Assistant

About the Role:

Join the Urban Restaurant Group as a Server Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in the heart of Eugene, OR. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about great food and service.

• Greet and seat guests according to a seating rotation
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests via Open Table software
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables and service stations.
• Help set up and break down dining room and event spaces for service.
• Refill drinks and respond to guest needs throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current food handler's card or ability to obtain one.
