JOIN LANE COUNTY'S LEADING LANDSCAPE SUPPLIER! Lane Forest Products has a full time opening for a Garden Center Associate position at our Corner Store location in Glenwood.

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Provide friendly customer service and ensure customer needs are being met
* Assist customers with plant selections
* Advise customers about plant care, watering and fertilizing best practices
* Display trees, shrubs and accessories in retail garden center
* Ensure the retail yard is stocked with sufficient quantities of merchandise
* Assist in ordering and receiving merchandise
* Accurate Cash handling
* Operate Forklift, Front End Loader and complete all associated training and reviews as necessary
* Other duties as assigned
** Qualifications**:
* 3 years of nursery or retail garden center experience preferred
* Working knowledge of inventory management including buying, appropriate in-stock levels, and retail pricing preferred.
* Must have the ability to operate a Forklift and a Front-End Loader (training provided)
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
