Senior Chemist; Organic Synthesis

Education:

Masters

• Perform multi-step organic synthesis (100 mg to 500 g scale) utilizing air- and moisture-free chemistry methods.
• Review historical records and analyze scientific data to optimize and execute complex manufacturing work orders.
• Troubleshoot chemistry processes using advanced chromatography and analytical techniques.
• Develop weekly work plans and coordinate resources to ensure on-time project completion.
• Maintain rigorous standards for laboratory safety, chemical handling, and process equipment operation.

• Master's degree in Organic Chemistry with 5+ years of applicable synthesis experience (or PhD with 2+ years).
• Strong background in compound isolation, characterization, and analytical monitoring methods.
• Proven ability to prioritize projects, troubleshoot complex processes, and maintain composure under tight deadlines.
• Excellent technical writing, organization, and constructive communication skills.
