** Alpine Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a HVAC Residential Apprentice Installer!
** The Install Helper will assist with the installation of HVAC equipment into residential customers’ homes. This includes equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.

Essential Job Functions:

* Assist with the installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer homes
* Assist with troubleshooting equipment throughout the installation process, upon start-up, and during operation
* Assist with installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential homes
* Ensure that thermostats are operational and connected to the equipment correctly
* Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle
* Follow all safety and training protocols per company policies
* Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings

Required License and

Experience:

* Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements

Work Environment
* Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
* May be exposed to extreme and uncomfortable temperatures and/or conditions
* Occasionally exposed to wet, snowy, hot, and humid conditions
* Subject to dark confined work spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
* Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration
* May encounter moderately loud noise level while in the field

Physical Demands
* Moderate to heavy working conditions
* Must be comfortable with and physically able to safely help lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, bend, crawl and kneel
* Must be able to lift 100+ pounds at a time
* Must be comfortable climbing 28+ foot extension ladders
* Must be comfortable working in small, dark, confined spaces (attics)
Supervisory Responsibility None. All questionable matters are referred to Supervisor.
