Salary Range: $25.00 - $40.00 Hourly.

Fulltime – Monday to Friday.

- Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication and installation
- Advanced Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
- Basic fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittings
- Ability to perform basic pre-construction layout
- Ability to perform accurate material take-offs on construction blueprints
- Ability to foresee and plan for ordering materials to keep project moving efficiently
- Size and draw duct work correctly
- Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units
- Understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
- Excellent customer relations skills and an open mind to think outside of the box
- Ability to train entry level personnel
- 2 years of experience as a lead installer
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements
- Operate company vehicle daily
- Follow instructions from supervisor and carry them out in a timely manner
- Supervise and be responsible for other installers
- Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly
- Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors
- Work a staggered schedule if required
- Maintain professional relationships with builders
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Run a job without supervision
- Complete jobs within the labor budget
- Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, timecards
- Train entry level employees
- Complete 16 hours of job-related training annually
- Run and work a job from start to finish
- Other duties assigned
- Working in tight spaces
- Ability to lift 100 lbs
- Occasionally high levels of dust
- Working on site at client’s home

This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
Education and ExperienceThis position requires a minimum of six months prior HVAC installation experience. Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job. Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
