High school graduation or equivalent. - Experience:
Three (3) years of journey‑level experience in electronic hardware and access control, with at least two (2) years in maintenance, new construction, and electrical troubleshooting. - Licensure or Certification:
Oregon General Journeyman Electrician License upon hire; current and valid Oregon Driver’s license or ability to obtain one by date of hire. - Conditions of Employment:
Successful applicants must complete a criminal background check. Infractions are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis. Must work and reside in Oregon at the time their work is being performed.
- Experience:
Extensive journey‑level experience; experience in maintenance, new construction, access control, electrical hardware, and electrical troubleshooting in a large commercial setting or in a public or higher‑education institution. - Language:

Responsible for journey‑level performance in installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures and door hardware in college facilities.
Essential Functions- Analyze and troubleshoot problems with electrical systems, including all phases of electrical installation and repair; diagnose causes of outages.
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, clean, and repair elements of the power distribution system.
