Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

Heavy Equipment Mechanics earn $35.30 to $37.75 per hour. We train and promote from within.

Eugene, Oregon.

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other equipment.
• Recognize, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical defects.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and maintain maintenance records.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments.
• Work may include day and evening hours, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.

• 5 years’ recent experience working on various machines, including the equipment noted above.
• Working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, equipment hydraulics and/or electrical systems.
• Preference given to applicants with fabrication and metal work experience.
• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
