Operations Technician II Responsibilities
- Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations
- Read and interpret drawings
- Inspect and supervise equipment
- Maintain operation and technical standards or governmental requirements
- Analyze data and collaborate with others to solve technical or operational problems
- Follow company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
- Adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, protecting community, personnel, environment, and assets
- Maintain general knowledge of site, location, equipment, permits, and compliance
- Complete reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of process operations and preventative maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Operations Technician II: High School Diploma or GED plus at least 3 years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role. Preferred:
Associate’s or 2‑year technical degree with at least 2 years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry. - Operations Technician III: High School Diploma or GED plus at least 2 years of related experience and 1 year as a technician in the oil and gas industry. Preferred:
Associate’s or 2‑year technical degree.
- Work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces.
- Carry or lift up to 50 lbs and team‑lift loads greater than 50 lbs as needed.
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods.
- Work at elevated levels from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or small towers with appropriate PPE.
- Available for after‑hours, on‑call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays.
- May require overtime, 10‑12 hour shifts, and travel between Williams locations, including occasional overnight stays.
- Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with technology and applications to increase operational efficiency.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and safety‑first approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
