Position Overview

We’re hiring a
Crew Lead
to lead small field crews on commercial landscape construction projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for daily production, jobsite safety, quality control, and crew direction.

You’ll work alongside your team while coordinating with the Project Lead, subcontractors, and other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and work with a crew performing commercial landscape installation
  • Install irrigation systems, planting, grading, and hardscape components
  • Read and follow construction plans and site drawings
  • Coordinate daily field work with Project Leads and other trades
  • Track production and maintain quality standards
  • Enforce jobsite safety procedures and OSHA practices
  • Maintain organized and professional jobsites
  • Train and support crew members
Requirements
  • 3+ years commercial landscape or site construction experience
  • Experience leading field crews on active jobsites
  • Strong knowledge of landscape installation, irrigation, grading, and hardscape
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience operating or working around heavy equipment
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
Preferred
  • Experience on large commercial or multi‑trade projects
  • Experience mentoring or training entry‑level crew members
