Fleet Mechanic Position

Job Summary: This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining company gas vehicles, diesel tractor trailers, and lift trucks to meet OSHA and DOT regulations.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and other mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and transmissions.
• Work independently to complete tasks.
• Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors, the traffic department, and others to ensure timely and correct repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare repair orders and inspection forms.
• Assist in additional duties and functions as directed by management.

• Previous experience as a mechanic required.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.

Mechanical experience working with gas and diesel vehicles, including trucks and lift trucks.

Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment. Bi‑weekly / On‑Demand pay.

Pay rate: USD 30.50 – 33.25 per hour.
