DFN in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a fiber construction technician to build and maintain our fiber optic plant. This role operates on the underground drop crew and uses vibratory plows and trenchers, performing heavy physical labor with safety as a priority.
You will read construction prints, handle tools, perform site prep, trenching, back filling, and equipment maintenance, while ensuring a safe work environment and customer rapport. CDL is encouraged to obtain within 6-12 months.
