PositionSummary
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and committed to developing a long-term career in the electrical trade.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
This is a non-exempt position. Work hours may vary based on the needs of the business, and overtime may be required.
Rate of Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location:

- Assist with the installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Follow blueprints, electrical codes, and safety regulations
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Assist licensed electricians with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
- Learn and develop electrical skills through on-the-job training and classroom instruction
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Mid Oregon IEC electrical apprenticeship program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a variety of conditions, including heights, tight spaces, and outdoors
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
