Nexus Family Healing is looking to add a part‑time Youth Skills Worker to our new Restorative Services Program in Oregon.
Nexus Family Healing
, a national non‑profit mental health organization serving youth and families for over 50 years, is offering a statewide Restorative Services program for Oregon youth aged 11‑18 who are involved in the court system. A team of psychologists and social services professionals works to fill gaps in service and meet the needs of Oregon youth.

Schedule / Pay / Location- Part‑time: 4‑10 hours per week.
- Pay: $24–$27 per hour.
- Remote/Hybrid in the Eugene community and surrounding areas; driving throughout Oregon required.

- Assist clients in using age‑appropriate self‑management skills, including communication, self‑regulation, self‑help, play, social, and relationship skills.
- Provide de‑escalation and therapeutic supports as needed.
- Notify and collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor in case of crises and emergencies.
- Complete clinical documentation in compliance with program expectations; demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills to generate and support program documentation standards.
- Attend and participate in clinical supervision and team case consultation meetings as required.
- Complete education and training experiences in accordance with program expectations.
- Ensure minimum hours of direct services as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all agency, state, and regulatory standards and remain compliant with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in implementing responses to youth behavior and other skill deficits according to the developed treatment plan.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
- OR, in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma or GED plus at least three years of relevant work, education, training, or experience.
- Must be QMHA (Qualified Mental Health Associate) qualified.
- Experience working with at‑risk youth and families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry skills required.
- Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering language, traditions, and values.
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of family‑based philosophy and practice.
- Experience with community‑based work, working with families, youth, and trauma‑exposed children and adolescents.
