Youth and Adult Program Coordinator

As a Youth and Adult Program Coordinator, you will support the coordination and delivery of Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth workforce services in Klamath County. This position provides direct participant services and case management while supporting coordination between Adult and Youth programs, employers, education providers, community organizations, and workforce system partners.

$26.79 - $39.34/hourly, DOE and Qualifications.

COIC’s Adult and Youth Employment Programs support individuals in achieving education, employment, training, and career advancement opportunities through workforce development programming and strategic community partnerships. Adult programs provide workforce services to adults and dislocated workers, including career counseling, occupational training, work-based learning, supportive services, and connections to employment. Youth programs serve eligible young people by supporting education and diploma or GED attainment, career exploration, work readiness, occupational training, work experiences, and pathways to employment and self-sufficiency.

Adult program services are delivered through Work Source Oregon, while Youth services are provided through COIC’s Youth Compass Program. This position supports both programs and may work from either program location based on service and program needs. Outreach and service delivery may also include engagement with employers, community partners, high schools, post-secondary education and training providers, and other workforce system partners.

Programs may include Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth services;
Rapid Response; grants; and other workforce and training initiatives designed to support individual employment outcomes and regional workforce needs.

Under the direction of the Adult Programs Manager and Youth Program Manager, the Adult and Youth Program Coordinator supports the coordination and delivery of Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth workforce services in Klamath County. This position provides direct participant services and case management while supporting coordination between Adult and Youth programs, employers, education providers, community organizations, and workforce system partners.

The Coordinator supports program processes, participant referrals, co-enrollment between programs, staff engagement, outreach, and development of work-based learning opportunities. The position maintains an active participant caseload and helps maintain COIC’s Adult Program presence within the Klamath Falls Work Source Oregon center while supporting services at the Youth program location and within the community.
