About This Role At Shop Back, our engineering teams build scalable platforms and utilize leading-edge technologies to build world-class products. You will be one of the most senior technical individual contributors in Shop Back, working very closely with the CTO while collaborating with senior leaders in the organization. You will make tech decisions that significantly impact a range of projects across multiple business units. You are also expected to be hands‑on and actively involved in coding.

• Provide technical leadership (ideation, technical design, implementation, testing product features) on high-impact projects spanning the entire organization
• Produce high quality software following good architecture and design principles that are scalable and reliable
• Design & deliver platforms and frameworks that increase the quality of business outcomes through critical technical decisions
• Strong mentoring skills with ability to influence and mentor engineers while reviewing design and code
• Collaborate with leaders across Shop Back, including but not limited to Product Management, Design, and Business, to define the future of the Shop Back experience

• At least 12+ years of experience developing consumer facing web applications
• Proven experience designing complex distributed systems, management products or business application at scale with significant impact
• Strong experience providing technical leadership, having led various projects, making key technical decisions, working across different functions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility
• Exemplary communication skills, proven track record of influencing leaders in both Technology and Business
