Parts Shuttle Driver – GTC/Freightliner Northwest

Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is now accepting applications for the Parts Shuttle Driver role at the GTC/Freightliner Northwest location in Coburg, OR. The role involves safe and efficient delivery and pickup of parts to and from GTC store locations.

• Deliver parts to multiple locations from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
• Adhere to company safe driving policies at all times.
• Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries using tablets and/or computer keyboard.
• Strengthen internal/external relationships with prompt and professional service.
• Provide communication to parts department on internal/external customer needs and returns.
• Help in the warehouse as time allows, operate a forklift daily, operate pallet jack daily.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle operation, loading, unloading.
• Complete daily DVIR reports for vehicle.
• Maintain a tight schedule with open communication to multiple locations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Must have a valid driver’s license, be insurable, and maintain a clean driving record. Driver must have a DOT medical card.

Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick‑ups, and a 24’ box truck. Experience driving a manual transmission, ability to type and use a computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Requires repetitive bending, frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 lbs., sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, stretching. Must be able to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.

Mostly indoor and outdoor in seasonal weather conditions. Some noise while working around operation departments. While performing duties, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Use of company-provided personal protective equipment may be required.

Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
