Summary The CDL driver is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer on a specific route to service accounts in handling the transport for our product and service.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform DOT required pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily
• Safely and courteously operate a CMV and all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, and handheld devices
• Prepare accurate documents, counts, and product preparation. This includes marking bags, building pallets and product grouping
• Load trucks, insuring all items are counted, loaded, and properly secured
• Learn and understand product information, company operations, and sorting procedures, and communicate this to retailers and customers
• Completion of weekly tasks in allotted amount of time.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or GED

Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities

• A valid CDL class A driver's license and acceptable driving history is required
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen prior to employment
• General knowledge of air brakes, fifth wheels, and combination vehicles
• Knowledge and understanding of OBRC operations and service areas is preferred
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day
• Professional demeanor in both attitude and appearance
