Job DescriptionBethel School District is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory/Delivery Specialist for the Nutrition Services program. This 6‑hour per day position follows the academic school year (10 months) with hours typically from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Duties include maintaining an efficient warehouse system, ensuring accurate inventory and timely delivery of school supplies and food.
Responsibilities- Provide district delivery for mail, food, supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Receive, inventory, reconcile with invoices, store and distribute supplies, materials and equipment as directed.
- Receive, secure and deliver school funds in accordance with district procedures.
- Assist with light maintenance and cleaning of equipment and kitchens during summer months.
- Perform other related services as assigned.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain a safe driving record meeting district standards.
- Understand and implement warehousing systems.
- Operate pallet lifter and forklift safely and independently.
- Possess a valid Oregon driver’s license authorizing operation of district vehicles.
- Be bonded for receipt and delivery of district funds.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, co‑workers, families, and supervisors.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, and other individuals.
- Maintain regular, predictable, and prompt attendance.
High school diploma or equivalent. Any combination of experience and training that demonstrates possession of the requisite abilities is acceptable. A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training may be substituted for the required experience.
Special RequirementsPossession or ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license prior to beginning employment.
Applicants must obtain a fingerprint clearance from the Oregon Department of Education; applicants will pay the one‑time clearance fee.
