Drive a truck and trailer with a capacity of up to 11,400 gallons of petroleum products to various places in Oregon and Washington. Support Tyree Oil’s Key Customer Requirements of Safety, Quality, Dependability, Hospitality, Integrity, Accuracy, Cleanliness, and Value.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the correct product and quantity is loaded in the correct compartment of the trailer at the tank farm.
- Process all tank farm paperwork in accordance with company procedures and standards.
- Utilize the shortest and safest routes to the delivery destinations.
- Check customer tanks to verify what products are held.
- Stick each tank and record beginning inches before delivery.
- Complete customer invoice with correct amount of fuel delivered, price, and amount due for that delivery.
- Maintain the appearance of the truck & trailer inside and out.
- Maintain truck inventory items including spill pads, metal bucket, flags, and correct nozzles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class A driver license with hazmat, tanker, doubles and triples endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years of driving a Class A vehicle.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- DOT Medical card.

- Shift options:
Day shift (4am-4pm) or Night shift (4pm-4am). - Hours per week: 40+ hours scheduled, 5 days per week / 10+ hours per day.
- Occasional/regular overtime required.
- Weekends and evenings occasionally required.
- Shift differential pay available.
Employee must maintain three points of contact when entering and exiting vehicles or machinery and reach and pull above shoulder height. Frequent use of hands, fingers, tools, or controls is required. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent lifting of hoses or moving up to 100+ pounds is required.
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using abdominal and lower back muscles without fatigue. Excellent stamina is required. Work involves moving mechanical parts and outside conditions such as inclement weather, heat, humidity, rain, snow, dust, and asphalt. The employee may occasionally work at heights above 6 feet, exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
Noise level is generally loud. Machinery/forklift operation may require safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
Regular schedule: 40+ hours per week, 5 days per week / 10+ hours per day. Occasional/regular overtime and weekend/evening work are sometimes required. Shift differential pay is available for night shifts.
