Shipping & Receiving Associate

The Shipping and Receiving Associate I is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments of materials, finished products, and supplies in a sewing manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, maintains inventory control, and supports production by routing incoming orders efficiently while following shipment priorities.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and finished goods
• Route incoming orders to the appropriate department or production area
• Prepare shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging materials for delivery
• Follow shipment schedules and priority guidelines to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Physically count and verify orders for accuracy prior to shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
• Load and unload deliveries in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine warehouse maintenance, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean work environment
• Operate warehouse equipment as required (e.g., pallet jacks, carts)
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred (recent 6-12 months of experience)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity to read instructions, labels, and shipment documentation
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift

Monday through Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm (OT Fridays 8:00am to 12:00pm)
