Position Summary
The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for fulfilling domestic and international customer orders on time and with accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Reports to:
Order Fulfillment Supervisor/Manager.
- Utilize handheld I‑Pod device to locate inventory, assemble customer orders from stock and transport orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to the packing station.
- Check accuracy and prepare orders for shipment using tote scanning.
- Pack orders using proper methods to maximize carton space and packing material.
- Correctly calculate package weights, prepare invoices, and process packages using the shipping meter and rate chart.
- Assist with routine cycle counts.
- Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Replenish stock levels in assigned bin locations from stock locations.
- Meet and maintain accuracy and productivity level requirements.
- Prepare delivery trucks for daily routes and cosmetically maintain delivery trucks.
- May drive a vehicle to transport items between buildings or from several locations for shipment.
- Contribute to overall housekeeping, including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, managers, leads, and peers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other job‑related equipment and software.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in company‑designated training.
- Capability to work with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Knowledge of and compliance with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbook.
- Practice of safe work habits.
This is a general warehouse position that requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and continuous use of hands for eight hours. The role involves lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and, occasionally with assistance, up to 100 pounds. Extended periods of walking and stair climbing are required. The position may entail frequent work beyond an eight‑hour shift/40‑hour week, including shift rotation and weekends.
Basic office equipment operation is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
