• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Multi-point inspections & documenting vehicle conditions
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, obeying all traffic laws
• Picking up parts and supplies
• Transporting customers as needed
• Following all safety procedures and reporting concerns to direct supervisor
• Supporting team members with other assigned tasks

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (Sundays off)
• State Inspector License (certified or working toward certification)

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat or cold. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required. Physical requirements include standing up to eight hours per day, walking to gain access to various areas of the building, bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching regularly, lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently, communicating with customers and shop personnel, and sufficient vision to detect color and depth.
