Tekberry is seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Posting & Procurement Specialist I to support our client, a leading automotive marketplace and technology company. This position supports Central Purchasing operations and is responsible for processing purchase orders, tracking requisitions, and assisting with purchasing‑related accounting and month‑end activities.

This role works closely with internal departments, suppliers, and shared services teams to ensure purchasing documentation, supplier coordination, and invoice processing are handled accurately and efficiently.

• Prepare purchase orders and distribute copies to suppliers and requesting departments
• Respond to supplier and internal inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or delays
• Review requisition orders to ensure accuracy, correct terminology, general ledger coding, and purchasing categories
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and purchase orders
• Maintain purchasing files, reports, pricing lists, and documentation
• Provide supporting documentation for month‑end accruals related to purchasing activities
• Compare supplier bids, prices, specifications, and delivery schedules to determine the best vendor options
• Verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with order specifications
• Compare supplier invoices against bids and purchase orders to confirm accuracy
  
  Submit invoices for payment and appropriate ledger coding
• Serve as a liaison with the Shared Services Center
• Assist with cross‑training for posting responsibilities within the team
• Make local purchasing decisions when emergency situations arise
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks with strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience with purchasing or procurement processes
• Knowledge of accounting procedures or accounts payable workflows
• Experience with AS400 or Oracle systems
• Basic understanding of supplier management and parts or supply ordering processes
• Auction industry experience or knowledge of auction operations

• Remote position
• Standard business hours:
  Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Preferred candidate location near one of the following markets:
  Dallas / DFW Euless, Nashville, or Chicago
• Position may require occasional overtime based on business needs
