Job OverviewWe are seeking experienced Industrial Electronics Bench Technicians to join our team. This role focuses on component‑level repair expertise, particularly with AC/DC drives and industrial power electronics. The position is bench‑based, involving diagnosing, repairing, soldering/desoldering, and testing industrial electronics. This is not a field service role, and no programming is required.
Responsibilities- Perform component‑level repairs on industrial electronic equipment.
- Diagnose failures using schematics and test equipment.
- Repair and test equipment such as AC & DC Drives, VFDs, Inverters, Servo & Spindle Drives, Industrial Power Supplies, HMIs, Touchscreens, Industrial PCs, Monitors, Teach Pendants, PLCs, Controllers, Timers, Temperature Controls, Safety equipment, and Industrial circuit boards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Perform soldering and desoldering (through‑hole & surface mount).
- Identify and order required parts and components.
- Fully test and document completed repairs.
- Proven experience in industrial electronics repair.
- Strong component‑level troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Hands‑on experience with components such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, transistors, relays, IGBTs, thermistors, optocouplers, and SMPS.
- Comfortable using a computer for documentation and ordering.
- Stable work history (no job hoppers).
$25–$32 per hour (Flexible based on experience)
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
