The Gund Company Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of engineered insulation materials, is seeking a Process Engineer I to support continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. In this entry-level role, you will analyze production processes, collect and interpret data, and help implement improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams, you will assist in troubleshooting issues, updating work instructions, and supporting new product and process introductions in a hands-on, shop-floor environment.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and document manufacturing processes to identify safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
- Collect and interpret production data to support problem-solving and decision-making.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for process issues.
- Support development, refinement, and maintenance of work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams on continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with new product and process introductions, including trials and validation activities.
- Participate in time studies, capacity analysis, and layout improvements to optimize workflow.
- Help ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all process changes.
- Support training of operators on new or updated processes and work instructions.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to drive lean initiatives and cost reduction projects.
