The pay range for this role is $63,822 - $92,187 annually.

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day-to-day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. Your medical practice management skills will drive business results, and your people leadership skills will help develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. You will work with a team of pet health experts to ensure clients and patients have a positive experience.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Three years related experience, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.).

The position requires versatility. Duties include interviewing, hiring, developing associates, evaluating hospital processes, and training associates on client education, wellness plans, and preventive care.

Responsibilities include:

• Educating associates on Banfield guidelines and practices.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Supporting daily operations and staff.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off, and managing continuing education needs.
• Maintaining financial performance and meeting key performance indicators.
• Communicating with veterinary medical team, field leadership, corporate headquarters, and Pet Smart associates when applicable.
