VETERINARY Practice Manager

Pay Range: $63822 - $92187 annually

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day-to-day operations so that the medical team can focus on delivering high-quality veterinary care. You will employ medical practice management skills to drive business results, lead associate development, and create an engaging team environment. Working with veterinary medical staff, field leadership, corporate headquarters, and Pet Smart associates (if applicable), you will help optimize the growth of both businesses and support a positive client and patient experience.

• Interview, hire, and develop associates.
• Evaluate hospital processes, progress, and productivity to improve efficiency.
• Train associates on client education, optimal wellness plans, preventive care, and hospital services.
• Budget and plan for the hospital, supporting daily operations and staff.
• Schedule associates, coordinate time off, and manage continuing education needs.
• Maintain compliance with Banfield guidelines and practices.
• Support day-to-day operations and foster a collaborative team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Three years of related experience, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and conflict-management experience.
• Leadership and analytical know-how.
