Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a variety of fabrication and CNC machining equipment to produce custom parts according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a 1st / 2nd shift position in Euless, TX (76040) with the opportunity for hire.
Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment
- Operate tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts
- Place and secure work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches
- Load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using CNC machining centers to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions
- Follow written instructions from internal and external customers and interpret basic to intermediate blueprint specifications
- Perform work independently with minimal defects
- Basic recognition of tooling and procedures within established tolerances
- Complete work order paperwork
- Checks parts for conformance to customer specifications
- Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required
- Participate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department
- Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide guidance, feedback and positive behavior
- Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use
- Make suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiency
- Assist with training other team members
- Follow safety rules and quality standards
Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
