Operator - Flex

Position Title

Operator – Wage: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

– Shift: 1st or 2nd –

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a variety of fabrication and CNC machining equipment to produce custom parts according to customer specifications.

• Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment.
• Operate tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
• Place and secure work pieces on the machine table or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches.
• Load, operate, and manufacture a variety of parts using CNC machining centers based on customer orders and instructions.
• Follow written instructions from internal and external customers and interpret basic to intermediate blueprint specifications.
• Perform work independently with minimal defects.
• Basic recognition of tooling and procedures within established tolerances.
• Complete work order paperwork.
• Check parts for conformance to customer specifications.
• Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required.
• Participate in cross‑training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department.
• Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and positive behavior.
• Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use.
• Make suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiency.
• Assist with training other team members.

• High School Diploma or GED with prior hands‑on, vocational or job‑related coursework/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
