RN Med Surg Tele – Seasonal

Medical City Dallas is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Telemetry Seasonal position located in the Euless and Tarrant County area. In this dynamic seasonal nursing role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring, assessing, and treating patients in a medical-surgical telemetry environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team within a progressive healthcare setting known for its clinical excellence, featuring stroke response times nearly half of the national average, cutting-edge SPOT Technology for early sepsis detection, and an Enhanced Surgical Recovery program designed to optimize patient healing and reduce post-surgical readmissions.

• Monitoring cardiac and other vital physiological parameters of patients on telemetry units
• Administering medications, therapies, and clinical treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital standards
• Assessing patient conditions, documenting changes, and responding promptly to critical medical situations
• Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and fellow nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans
• Educating patients and their families regarding post-treatment care, recovery milestones, and ongoing health management

Position compensation is offered at $59,551 per year (approximately $55 per hour based on standard scheduling).
