Event Server | Upscale Venues & Private Functions
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth area
Compensation: $20–$30/hour (based on experience, service style, and event scope)
Shift Availability: Weekday lunches, weekend evenings, plus select special events
* Earn up to $50 in extra bonuses: Get $25 after your first shift and an additional $50 for completing shifts on both the 21st and 24th.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- Previous experience in fine dining, luxury events, banquets, or upscale hospitality preferred
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred.
- Solid understanding of service timing, guest etiquette, and team coordination
- Professional presentation with a calm, service-forward approach
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Comfortable standing for long periods and handling tray service
- Current Food Handler’s Certificate required
What You’ll Be Supporting
Depending on the event, responsibilities may include one or more of the following service styles:
Formal & Plated Service
- Welcome guests and deliver attentive, table-side service
- Take food and beverage orders with confidence and menu knowledge
- Transport plated meals from kitchen to table efficiently and accurately
- Clear and reset tables while maintaining an immaculate dining space
- Complete opening and closing duties such as station setup and silverware polishing
Cocktail, Canapé & Tray Service
- Move throughout event spaces offering hors d’oeuvres and beverages
- Execute tray-pass service during receptions and networking events
- Carry and manage plated bites, including shoulder-supported trays when needed
- Assist with light setup, breakdown, and removal of used serviceware
Banquet & Large-Scale Events
- Prepare tables, buffets, and service stations prior to guest arrival
- Run food and beverages to service points or guest tables
- Support service flow during high-volume banquets and events
- Assist with post-event cleanup, breakdown, and inventory support
Pay & Scheduling Details
- Core shifts include weekday lunches and weekend dinner services
- Additional opportunities available across various days and event types
- Hourly rates vary based on experience level, service style, and event requirements
