Strategic Account Manager – Arlington, TX

Position Overview:

Manage key customer relationships and drive revenue growth for our strategic accounts.

• Achieve sales goals within assigned time frames that meet monthly business objectives while actively acquiring new business and maintaining established distribution.
• Manage multiple accounts, ensuring a high level of customer retention and satisfaction.
• Identify development potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with the customer.
• Initiate the sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments; and driving the initial presentation.
• Develop new applications by preparing specifications, conferring with product engineering, and presenting new products and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections, preparing contracts, and contributing to sales strategies by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks and professional organizations.
• Enhance departmental and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
