CDL Driver

The CDL Driver will be working in a crew of 5 to 8 employees. With the guidance of the foreman, the CDL Driver will be transporting heavy equipment and material to and from the job site. The CDL Driver will be partnering with safety, fleet, the shop and other administrative support to ensure the proper materials are delivered to the site.

The CDL driver will be on occasion supporting the laborers in completing parts of the project(s). The CDL Driver will be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, routine maintenance and DOT requirements such as driver logs. All CDL Drivers are required to have a driving record free of traffic infractions and have pass the DOT physical and drug test, and have a medical card.

• Driving materials from the yard to the site location
• Assisting the crew members with parts of the project
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Picking up material orders from the vendor
• Dispose of materials from the job site
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips
• Maintain driving logs and other DOT compliance regulations
• Maintain vehicles and equipment assigned to them, by keeping it clean, checking fluids, and creating work orders for any necessary maintenance and/or repairs
• Manage proof of delivery paperwork from vendor and job sites
• Follow all safety protocols and drive safe
• Attending weekly driver safety meetings

• 3 - 5 years of truck driving experience in Construction working with Concrete, Asphalt or Striping focused projects
• 2 Years + experience in driving manual DOT vehicles
• Must have a CDL Driver’s license, DOT medical card
• Pass an MVR check, DOT physical, and drug test
• Knowledge of Microsoft, tablets, and phones
• Willingness to travel 50 – 100%
• Willingness to work overtime

Pay Range $20 - $25 - this pay range is depending on experience and credentials
