Job Description:The Instructor or Assistant Professor of English is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of English, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses.
Responsibilities:- 65% Instruct college-level English courses and English support courses
- 20% Office hours and advising
- 10% Committee Work/University Service
- 5% Other duties as assigned
- Master’s in English or related field
- OR Master’s degree in an unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in a related English field from a regionally accredited institution
- College-level instruction in English; background in folklore beneficial
- Ph.D. in English or related field
- 3 years of college-level instruction in English; background in folklore beneficial
