The Adjunct Instructor of Biological Sciences is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials and/or labs relating to courses in the field of biological sciences.
Job Responsibilities- 60% - Development of course materials in the field of Biological Sciences which entails but is not limited to: timely submission of course syllabus’ and supporting course materials to Division.
- Instruction of course materials in the field of Biological Sciences which entails but is not limited to: timely communication of all grades to students and the Division, timely submission of Student Learning Outcomes to the Division, evaluation of student performance in laboratory didactic courses, and participation in development of remediation plans with students for improvement and/or growth of the student.
- 35% - Office hours
- 5% - Other duties as assigned
- Master’s degree in a related field of study from a regionally accredited academic institution OR Master’s degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related Biological Sciences field from a regionally accredited academic institution
- Ph.D. in a related field of study from a regionally accredited academic institution
- 2 years of teaching experience both in-person and on-line

Compensation will be determined in compliance with LSUE Policy Statement Number 46.
