Acadian Medical Center, a Campus of Mercy Regional Medical Center

Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana. BLS required. ACLS, PALS strongly recommended. Physical/emotional stamina. Communicates in a clear and understandable manner appropriate to the age/developmental stage of the patient or visitor. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills. Meets specific departmental criteria and/or certifications.

The staff R.N. is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
