RN - ER - Acadian Campus

Mercy Regional Medical Center is looking for a licensed RN to provide professional care as part of a nursing team. The staff RN will assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients over a designated time frame, delivering care via the nursing process, therapeutic environment, treatment modalities, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The RN provides direct patient care, including but not limited to establishing therapeutic relationships, implementing evidence‑based nursing interventions, monitoring patient outcomes, and coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient recovery.

BLS required. ACLS preferred. Specialty certification preferred.

• Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana
• Physical and emotional stamina
• Communicates clearly and understandably, appropriate to the age/developmental stage of the patient or visitor
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills
• Meets specific departmental criteria and/or certifications
