The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Eunice Manor Nursing Home is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long‑term care and skilled nursing facility setting. The role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of compassionate care is delivered to our residents.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of nursing care provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic care to residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address any concerns or questions.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current nursing knowledge and skills.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Act as a team player to support the overall functioning and success of the nursing home environment.

Valid LPN License in Louisiana

• Experience working in a long‑term care or skilled nursing facility
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality care in a fast‑paced environment

• 1+ year of experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care setting
• Experience in a similar role within a nursing home or healthcare facility

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare staff
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues
• Exceptional customer service skills to enhance patient satisfaction
