Unarmed Security Officer (Physical Security)

Job Skills / Requirements- Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

- Must be 25+ years of age or older
- Shifts:
Wednesday – Sunday 9am – 4:15pm
- Perform regular and random patrols of assigned premises
- Report security‑related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences
- Enforce property control procedures when necessary
- Document nightly operations and submit weekly reports
- Investigate breaches of property and policy violations
- Help prevent and deter crime through visible presence and proactive engagement
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Active cellphone
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Must meet state licensing requirements and be able to obtain the required Security Officer licence (armed or unarmed)
Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and quickly during emergencies
- Ability to read and interpret written information
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle if required
- Ability to detect alarms, distress signals and environmental hazards in noisy environments
- Must be able to walk, run, stand, climb and sit for extended periods
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. waist‑high if required
- Must be in good mental health and able to make immediate decisions during emergencies
- Must meet all state‑required physical and mental licensing standards
