Gershenson Construction, is an well established and growing heavy highway, bridge, and sewer contractor since 1977. We have an immediate opening for a Cement Mason Lead Person for prevailing wage roadwork projects in the St. Louis area. We hire both union and non-union finishers, paying Journeyman cement mason’s (AFL-CIO) wages and benefits or more. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in roadway construction, concrete paving, and structural concrete work.
Experience working on government‑funded projects (MoDOT, MSD, St. Louis County) is required. Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership skills to supervise crews, manage daily schedules, coordinate concrete ready‑mix, and strictly enforce safety, quality, and production standards on site. Position offers competitive pay and long‑term career growth. Pre‑employment and random drug testing is required.
