Position Overview

We are seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity in Northern California. This role is based in a community health setting providing comprehensive dental services to a diverse patient population.

The ideal provider is comfortable in a fast-paced general dentistry environment and open to serving both pediatric and adult patients.

Schedule

• Monday Friday

• 8:00am 5:00pm

• 40 hours per week

• 6-month assignment

• Start:
Early April

• Minimum 3-month commitment required

Clinical Scope

• 50/50 pediatric and adult patients

• General dentistry

• Cleanings

• Fillings

• Extractions

• No cosmetic dentistry

• Community health setting

• Ongoing assignment potential

Requirements

• DDS or DMD

• Active California dental license

• Minimum 1 year of dentistry experience preferred

• Community health or underserved population experience strongly preferred

• Active DEA prior to start

• BLS certification

• Credentialing timeframe: days

• Must provide list of procedures you are comfortable performing

Credentialing Requirements

• TB screening

• Influenza vaccination (current season)

• MMR immunity

• Varicella immunity

• Hepatitis B immunity

• Tdap within 10 years
