Required Skills:

• Active California medical license and DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency in Gastroenterology
• Proven expertise in ERCP and fluoroscopy procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication skills
• Ability to perform procedures that typically last between 30 minutes to an hour
• Willingness to work weekday clinic hours, night call, and weekend coverage as scheduled

• Prior experience in hospital-based gastroenterology practice
• Skills in advanced endoscopic techniques and complex cases
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to adapt to varied clinical settings and provide team leadership

• Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship
• At least two years of current hospital clinical activity in gastroenterology
• Evidence of recent case logs, especially for surgical procedures

• Valid California medical license and DEA verification
• Temporary fluoroscopy license (if applicable), with plans to obtain permanent license within one year
• Willingness to begin shifts starting May 1, 2026
• Privileging process may take several months; timely application submission (within 5 days) is critical for efficient onboarding
• Shifts include weekday clinic hours (8am-5pm), night call, and 24-hour weekend coverage
• Overtime applies after 9 hours per day, with preapproval required from clinic management (Hilary Schuler)
