Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, March 12-19, April 4-6, April 22-26
• Patient Population: Pediatric
• Location: Eureka, CA
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

• Weekly direct deposit

• Provide neonatal airway management, including intubation
• Manage neonatal air leak/pneumothorax, including needle decompression
• Perform emergent UVC and UAC placements
• Conduct lumbar punctures and interpret EKGs

• Active CA medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

• 24-hour call only (not required to be in house)

• Proficiency in neonatal airway management and pediatric intubation
• Experience with UVC/UAC placement and EKG interpretation
• Preferred skills in ventilator management and chest tube insertion for neonates
