Schedule:
24-hr call; 6a-6a - Call Type:
Beeper - Call Response Time: 20-30 mins
- Admissions: 2
- Discharges: 2
- Support Staff: RNs
- Required Procedures:
- Intubation (ETT/NT):
Newborn & Pediatrics (chest tubes, intubations for peds would most likely occur in the ED) - Central line, UVC & UAC placement (only for neonates) - Neonatal airway mgmt including intubation - Mgmt of neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression - Emergent UVC placement (delivery room) - Lumbar puncture & EKG interpretation - PREFERRED:
Ventilator mgmt. & Chest tube insertion (neonates) - Nursery Level: I
- NICU Level: II
- Nursery Floor: 4-6
- EMR:
Epic - Hospital Privileges required:
Yes - Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
- Active CA License
- BC/BE (3-5 years post residency)
- BLS, ACLS & PALS
- NRP
