Inpatient and outpatient practice
Scheduled clinical hours plus in-house call
30 patients per shift (clinic average)
Trauma Level III facility
Stroke-certified hospital
Epic EMR
90-day credentialing timeframe
Multiple providers accepted Call Structure In-house call coverage
Call responsibilities include both OB and GYN
20-minute response time requirement Obstetrics Scope Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management required
FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) required
OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II) required
Routine vaginal deliveries required
Low forceps delivery required
C-section decision-making required
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations required
Complicated deliveries preferred (C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC) Gynecology Scope Office/minor procedures required (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP)
Surgical gynecology required
Open procedures required
Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures required
Operative/major procedures required (ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOA)
Laser certification preferred Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
ACLS required
BLS required
Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required
Hospital privileges required
