24-hr call; 6a-6a Call Type:
Beeper Call Response Time: 20-30 mins Admissions: 2 Discharges: 2 Support Staff: RNs Required Procedures:
- Intubation (ETT/NT):
Newborn & Pediatrics (chest tubes, intubations for peds would most likely occur in the ED) - Central line, UVC & UAC placement (only for neonates) - Neonatal airway mgmt including intubation - Mgmt of neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression - Emergent UVC placement (delivery room) - Lumbar puncture & EKG interpretation - PREFERRED:
Ventilator mgmt. & Chest tube insertion (neonates) Nursery Level: I NICU Level: II Nursery Floor: 4-6 EMR:
Epic Hospital Privileges required:
Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements:
Active CA License BC/BE (3-5 years post residency) BLS, ACLS & PALS NRP
