Opportunity Highlights

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday (8am-5pm, times may vary), Friday (7:30am-5pm, times may vary). Call will be 7-10 days per month including weekends, dates will vary. One hour unpaid lunch during 8am-5pm shifts. When on call during a clinic week, shifts include regular hours M-F during the day, night call each weekday night, and 24-hour call on weekends.
Job Setting:  Hospital System, 6 beds in department
Types of Cases:  General Urology (adult and pediatric), advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies. Preferred skills include adrenalectomy, fertility work-up, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and ESWL. 16+ patient encounters per shift.
Credentialing:  60-90 days average. RFA due within 48-72 hours, hospital privilege application due within 5 business days. 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty required. Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained. Current case logs required upon presentation.

Minimum Requirements    Board Certified/Board Eligible:  Board Certified or truly Board Eligible required

Certifications:

ACLS required. Active fluoroscopy required (will accept providers willing to obtain or with temporary fluoroscopy).
Licensure:  Active CA license required. IMLC not accepted. Fellowship training (1 year).

Hours:

8 hours per day. Overtime applies after 9 hours per day and must be preapproved by clinic manager.
Lodging:  $3,500 per month approved
